Wherever you go, whatever you do, I will Always be with you

Arohanui Hospice has teamed up with a former palliative care nurse turned jewellery designer to help raise essential funds to provide free end-of-life care to people and support for their families/whanau.

Helen Thompson-Carter’s Fabuleux Vous (FV) Jewellery includes the ‘Always’ 925 sterling silver collection, with its bracelets and charms designed so they can be personalised with a special engraving.

For Arohanui Hospice patients, family/whanau and friends, an Always piece of jewellery can be an everlasting keepsake, signifying the emotional connection between loved ones  – wherever they may be.

Also, purchase a piece from the FV Jewellery Always collection, ranging from $39 to $89, and you will help support Arohanui Hospice, with $20 from every bracelet and $5 from every charm sale donated to the Hospice.

Or, purchase any other item of FV Jewellery online at fabuleuxvous.com, also entering the promo code ‘Aroha’ at the checkout, and 15% of the price will be donated to Arohanui Hospice.

Before founding Fabuleux Vous Jewellery in 2014, director Helen Thompson-Carter had a career as a Registered Nurse specialising in terminal care.

“Being a terminal care nurse for a number of years was very special. I have never lost my love and passion for the care of the dying, it was and will always be one of the most rewarding, challenging, giving, and special of all my Registered Nursing experiences,” Helen said.

“I hold dear to me still today those whose hands I had the great privilege to hold in their final moments, the families I helped to stay close to their loved one and those most importantly I was instrumental in allowing to leave our beautiful world with grace, with peace and with dignity. I felt then and will forever feel blessed to have had these privileges.”

This helped inspire Helen to design and create emotionally-empowering jewellery, celebrating the connection between people, places, memories, special times and events, as well as to help financially support Hospice.

“Hospice is not about a building you go to; it is about care of the whole person and their families in their time of need,” she said.

“We love and respect what they do; they are such an important part of our community.”
