Note: This is a repeat of the workshop held in September 2012.
This study day will explore the issues relating to dementia and the impact of the condition on the person affected and their families. Understanding dementia from the gerontology and palliative care perspective will empower health professionals to provide excellent patient centered care that focuses on the psychological, emotional, spiritual and physical needs of people living and dying with dementia.
