Research

Arohanui Hospice encourages and supports research and enquiry to solve problems, answer questions and generate new knowledge.

Research in all aspects of Palliative Care is required, to enable the specialty to move from an anecdotal basis to one founded on reliable knowledge. Our research projects aim to help us further understand and improve our care for those living with a life-limiting illness and support for their families/whanau.

Arohanui Hospice initiates original research, but we are also committed to maintaining and developing our research partnerships with tertiary educational institutes such as Massey University and internationally through IORC (International OPCARE 9 Collaborative).

A list of the latest research publications relating to Arohanui Hospice is available to view here.
