Arohanui Hospice in Palmerston North has been providing specialist palliative care since 1991. The Role – Registered Nurse (0.8 FTE, Fixed Term)
We have a permanent nursing role available in our Inpatient Unit. You’ll work rostered shifts across seven days, including some nights and weekends, as part of a high-trust, high-performing interdisciplinary team.
You’ll bring more than clinical skill — you’ll bring heart, integrity, and the drive to walk alongside patients and whānau at the most important time in their lives.
What You’ll Need
- NZ Registered Nurse with current APC
- Strong generalist nursing experience – palliative care experience a big plus
- A commitment to postgraduate education and your PDRP
- Excellent communication and clinical reasoning
- Confidence in using digital patient systems
- A full clean driver’s license
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to health equity
