Arohanui Hospice provides specialist palliative care for patients living with life limiting illnesses, and support for their families/whānau within the Manawatū, Tararua, Horowhenua, and Rangitīkei/Taihape regions. ABOUT THE JOB
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Quality and Safety Administrator to join our Arohanui Hospice team working 35 hours per week. This role also collaborates with key staff across the organisation. The Quality & Safety Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Arohanui Hospice’s quality, and health and safety initiatives including projects and policy review processes while maintaining accurate documentation management and promoting reporting, continuous improvement systems, and practices. The role will also provide administrative support for both clinical and non-clinical quality, and health & safety activities.

ABOUT YOU
We are seeking candidates who have experience in and a passion for all things quality and safety, and who are committed to best practice standards with a focus on continuous improvement. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage the organisation’s risk management, incident reporting, quality improvement, and audit processes both internal and external
You will be highly organised, have an eye for detail, have excellent prioritisation skills, audit experience, and demonstrable experience in quality control.

You will have proven experience with accreditation, certification, or other recognised quality programs. You will be IT-savvy, have experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Application Suite, including SharePoint, and experience with Equip or health audits is a significant advantage. You will have a proven ability to work autonomously with great time management skills and be self-motivated with the ability to consistently enhance systems and processes.
