Arohanui Hospice is looking for a Clinical Data Analyst / PalCare Specialist—someone who’s passionate about using data to drive meaningful change in patient outcomes, and who can champion our clinical systems, especially PalCare.

About the Role

  • Lead the design of dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders (Clinical Governance, Te Whatu Ora, Board reporting, audits, etc.)
  • Be the PalCare subject matter expert: train users, support onboarding, maintain data rules, and liaise with PalCare Pty Ltd
  • Support national benchmarking efforts and participate in regional user groups
  • Collaborate on innovation projects, audit preparation, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with wider systems use and training (e.g., Microsoft 365, Power BI, Data Commons)

What You’ll Bring

  • Clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Deep knowledge of PalCare and its applications in hospice care
  • Strong data analysis and reporting background
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Canva, PowerPoint
  • Experience with project work or change management principles
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate insights effectively
