Exploring spiritual and cultural diversity, this workshop provides an overview and aims to raise awareness and understanding of the increasing spiritual and cultural diversity that exists within our community. This understanding will enhance our collective ability to offer the most appropriate palliative care. Various representatives will share their perspectives, illuminating how knowledge of their beliefs and traditions can enhance our palliative care approach for people in their communities.
This workshop is open to all those working in the health and pastoral care sectors. Facilitated by George Dempster, Spiritual Care Coordinator, Arohanui Hospice.

This study day will provide participants with a comprehensive, holistic approach to the management of pain and other symptoms for people receiving palliative care. There will be the opportunity for discussion and questions as we look at the range of symptoms experienced by people.
This workshop is open to all registered health professionals working with people with a palliative need. Programme details and speakers will be available in due course.
