Workshop: Holding Spaces

Date/Time: Thursday 20th August - 9.00am till 4.00pm

This workshop is designed for professionals working in emotionally demanding environments, including nurses, counsellors, social workers, allied health professionals, hospice and palliative care teams, GPs, and community support workers.

Participants will gain:
• A deeper understanding of the neuroscience of grief and emotional processing
• Insight into how caring work affects the nervous system and wellbeing
• Practical tools for emotional regulation and sustainable practice
• Strategies for maintaining compassion while preventing burnout
• Increased capacity to support others without compromising personal health

This is more than a workshop about grief—it’s an opportunity to strengthen your professional practice, enhance your wellbeing, and leave with practical tools you can apply immediately.

Workshop: 'Symptom Management in Palliative Care' Study Day

Caring for people with palliative care symptoms can be complex. This study day will increase your knowledge on how to address some of those challenges.
