These sessions provide free education and information for families, whanau and caregivers when their loved one is referred to Arohanui Hospice.

This education provides:

• A safe and non-threatening environment for families to gather and share experiences
• Empowerment of family/carers to have the confidence and knowledge around knowing what to expect when their loved one has a life limiting illness
• Practical information that assists the family in caring for their loved one at the end of life

The Caregiver’s Toolbox sessions are held regularly throughout the year. Sessions will be held in Palmerston North at Arohanui Hospice, and also in Levin at the Arohanui Hospice Horowhenua Centre.
